2018 Strawberry Patch
Grenache Rose ***SOLD OUT***

With a lifted nose of strawberry and guava, this is a classic dry-style rose made from 100% Grenache. A lifted bright palate consisting of strawberry and guava fruit. The finish is crisp and dry.
The fruit for this wine came from our Santa Monica vineyard on California Road in the Tatachilla region of McLaren Vale. The 4.5 acres of Grenache were planted in 2000 in the gently undulating red/grey sandy loam soils. The vineyard was previously a strawberry paddock, hence the name, and black plastic remnants are sometimes still seen in the vineyard rows.
It is fantastic with food including cheese platters, pasta and pork belly.
